Restoration
is often part of the work of Maestro Negroni. Following conservation
or integration work with respect to the authenticity of an
instrument, documenting with pictures and descriptions every
phase of the work.
Partial
or total replacement of borders, grafting of the neck, adjustement
of peg-holes, closing of cracks with reinforcements, touching
up varnish are just some of the most frequent operations.
For
more complex restoration work, plaster casts are made to support
the violin perfectly and so eliminate any risk of damage to
a precious instrument. Musicians from all over the world.
